I always have this thing when I drive over the Golden Gate Bridge where I tell anyone I’m with how incredible it is that we live where we do. People fly from all over the world to see the Golden Gate Bridge. It is not lost on me how incredibly iconic this commuter bridge is and so many of us moan and groan about crossing it. Sure, it can be congested and a little dangerous, but seriously… ICONIC.
Marcia reached out to me on instagram and wanted to get professional portraits done for Christmas cards. She wanted to honor their new city in a subtle but obvious way. Immediately, the Golden Gate Bridge popped into my mind. There are so many ways to honor San Francisco but the bridge is what anyone and everyone would recognize.
We planned a little mini session on the sand at Baker Beach on a cold winter day. Surprisingly, there were quite a few people out enjoying the view. We just barely beat a storm and had very little fog. We counted our blessings and got to shooting right away.
They were naturals in front of the camera! It’s amazing how many photos can be taken and delivered in a mini session. Although I don’t offer stand-alone mini sessions, I do offer them throughout the year, and I highly recommend taking advantage of them.
A mini session with me might be short, but it’s a great bang for the buck! For roughly 20-30 minutes, you will have uninterrupted shooting time with gentle posing and a ton of fun. You’ll leave the mini session happy and excited to see what was captured in such a short amount of time. I guarantee 15-20 images, and sometimes there will be a few bonus images in your gallery. When you think about it, you aren’t going to print and hang 75+ photos in your house or print them on your holiday cards. So, the mini session is PERFECT for these scenarios!
If you want to be added to my mini session interest list to get access to booking before the general public, fill out my contact form and get added to my subscription list! It doesn’t hurt to have the first pick of dates and times!
