What’s better than Elvis being your officiant at your Las Vegas elopement? TWO Elvis’ being your officiants at your Las Vegas Elopement!
I had the pleasure of traveling to Las Vegas for an elopement at the Graceland Wedding Chapel. And let me just say… it was the COOLEST non-traditional wedding I’ve ever witnessed. We danced, we smiled so hard our cheeks hurt, we cried a little at how amazing it all was, and it was all about my amazing couple, Mark and Nicole.
I think that’s one of the biggest draws to an elopement or intimate wedding – it’s ALL about the couple! It was everything THEY wanted and you could feel the love and happiness in every part of their day because of it. Low stress, a ton of fun, and silly dancing.
So here’s the thing about the Graceland Wedding Chapel – they have an in-house wedding photographer. So if you plan to do a Las Vegas Elopement and want portraits celebrating your day outside of the actual ceremony, you’ll want to hire someone (me!).
We started with a few getting-ready shots at the Venetian hotel where Mark and Nicole were staying. Nicole spent the morning at The Dry Bar at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and then did her own make-up. She looked beautiful! Next up… wedding portraits!
We went to The Neon Museum for these unique wedding portraits. If this is in your plans, you need to reserve a time and fill out a photographers form. It was amazing, though! We had the entire section to ourselves so we move around freely and were able to get even the “no pictures please” groom to embrace his inner model.
I’ll let the pictures do the talking!
After the portraits and ceremony, we went to dinner at The Venetian’s Italian restaurant: The Canaletto.
Eloping is such an intimate decision and I’m truly honored to have been there to photograph such a unique wedding.
Here are more photos from their special day!
If you are ready to plan your elopement, let’s chat! I’d love to help you plan your special day and capture the intimate details.
