Intimate Winery Wedding In Kenwood

Kayla and Nate’s beautiful and intimate winery wedding at Landmark Vineyards in Kenwood was amazing! They live on the east coast and were originally planning to have their wedding in Italy but because of different travel hurdles they had to quickly pivot their entire plan. They still wanted to have that “destination wedding” feeling with lots of simple romantic elements, like a harpist. We definitely accomplished that! Even though you have an idea of what your wedding should be it’s so important to not have the unexpected hurdles derail how special your day can be! Kayla and Nate were so easy-going and we all had such a blast together! Come take a look!

A Beautiful Intimate winery Wedding Day

These two quickly, and I mean in like 2 months, booked EVERYTHING!! Every single guest was either family or a bridesmaid – it was very intimate. Only about 12 people. It was so sweet and special! I was able to capture every single moment since I was there the entire day. They wanted me there for every moment because it was really important to capture their entire story. A really sweet moment of this intimate winery wedding was that they both wrote a letter to each other and read them at the exact same time. My second photographer was with Nate and I was with Kayla to get their emotions at the exact same time. It was a beautiful moment! And even though it was a very small wedding, they still did traditional things – their first look, first dances, and toasts! Having an intimate wedding doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice anything!

Their entire day was seriously perfection and I had so much fun capturing all the details. They had their wedding live streamed on Facebook, did a first look reveal via zoom with family and friends, and then Kayla jumped into the fountain at the end of the night. These two didn’t let any unexpected hurdles get in their way of enjoying their wedding day!
