Jayma and Andrew have a true serendipitous love story that led to their Bodega Bay engagement photos. When we sat together in their living room talking about their love story it was clear that these two were completely meant to be together. Their lives intertwined in so many ways until they officially connected and became a couple. Both grew up in the same small town in Florida but not knowing each other, going to the same grammar schools at different times, and living in the same cities at the same times – possibly crossing paths and glances on the subway in New York when they lived there but still not knowing each other. They now work for different companies but within the same industry and love calling Sonoma County home. A beautiful serendipitous love that blossomed and came to life even more during this session. A Peaceful, Meaningful and Intimate Engagement Love Story In Bodega Bay

Their house is their safe space, and it is BEAUTIFULLY decorated. *Almost* every piece in their home was found at estate sales, garage sales, and thrift stores but tells a story. Like everyone else, when the pandemic hit in 2020, they become very attached to making their house a peaceful HOME. So, the epicenter of their love story being shared in their engagement photos is there. We started the evening chatting about their love story, cuddling with their pandemic puppy (Winnie), the sweetest Golden Retriever, and roasting marshmallows – since they did that a lot in 2020. Drinking wine and showcasing different areas of their cozy home. Then we went out to Bodega Bay to get some beach photos. For how freezing and foggy it was, they never once complained. They even jumped at the idea of splashing their feet in the water. We popped champagne and celebrated their engagement, which was a long time coming… All the way to their childhood…without even realizing it. We stayed very true to their love and to them! This was not just another engagement session on the beach! But instead, holds sentimental value to their love story.
